"...Goose Barnacle, which for around five years has occupied a cozy space on the Cobble Hill-Brooklyn Heights border a couple of blocks from the water, is a fashion outpost that functions more as a neighborhood store... The tidiness of Goose Barnacle is welcome: smartly laid out, filled with a surprisingly vast range of offerings, plenty of which come from lesser-known brands that specialize in refining and tweaking elemental pieces... It’s not unreasonable to think that there could have been something far less ambitious or effective in this same storefront, and it may well have succeeded with these same men, who may or may not be aware of just how good they have it..."
